Both Prada L'Homme and Luna Rossa Carbon are excellent, high-quality fragrances from the iconic house of Prada. They both have very good longevity (in the six to nine hours range), although Carbon may last a bit longer for some. Both are sold as men's fragrances, but L'Homme could arguably be unisex.
Prada L'Homme EDT
A refreshing scent that blends iris and neroli. As it dries down, you get warm woods, amber, and patchouli. The overall vibe is sophisticated, timeless, somewhat sweet and powdery.
Goes well with a suit for the office or just a t-shirt and jeans, I find the scent extremely versatile and easy to wear.
Works year-round but really shines in spring and fall when temperatures are mild. Could work in the summer too, but personally I'd prefer something blue and more refreshing in the summer weather.
Prada Luna Rossa Carbon EDT
Opens with a bright, almost metallic lavender that settles into rich woods, musks, and spicy black pepper. The vibe is adventurous yet refined.
Luna Rossa Carbon complements edgier casual looks like leather jackets, jeans, and boots, but it's also good for dressier evening events. Just like L'Homme, it's a pretty versatile scent, but less sweet.
Personally I think it works best in cooler weather, like fall or spring, can also work well for summer nights.
I can't recommend one over the other. I enjoy both scents and they fill different roles for me. Sometimes I use L'Homme as my daily scent; it's easy to throw on in the morning, its suitable for any occasion and I can just wear it all around. Carbon has a "sharper" scent, its brighter, less sweet, and stands out more.
